Team Founded

H2-EDGE was officially established at Politecnico di Torino, launching research on hydrogen propulsion.

September 2025

Modelling & Test Bench

Developed fluid-dynamic models and started designing the experimental testing rig.

May 2026 (Now)

Cold-Test Prep & Refining

Currently sizing fluid feed lines and DAQ systems to prepare the hardware for initial validation.

September 2026

Combustion Chamber Launch

Ramping up activities on the combustion chamber track, running in parallel with injector development.

September 2027

Optimization & Hardware Design

Refining injector parameters based on cold tests while finalizing the combustion chamber detailed design.

March 2028

First Hot Tests

Integrating the optimized injector with the physical combustion chamber for live hot-flow testing.

March 2029

Overall System Optimization

Completing final data validation and system refinements for the 100% clean energy engine architecture.
